Update on the American Health Care Act

The House Ways and Means Committee completed their protracted markup of the tax provisions of the American Health Care Act around 4:30 a.m. passing the bill out of committee along party lines. House unveils plan to replace the Affordable Care Act

The Ways and Means and the Energy and Commerce Committees released the American Health Care Act, legislation that would repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Both Committees have scheduled a markup of their legislation tomorrow morning. The bill was released without a Congressional Budget Office score.
