About Marguerite
Marguerite joined NRHA staff in 2024.
She serves as the Senior Government Affairs and Policy Coordinator, where she supports policy development, analysis, and advocacy across key rural health priorities. In this role, she works closely with program staff to advance NRHA’s policy agenda, drafts regulatory comments and policy materials, tracks federal legislative and administrative activity, and provides technical assistance and communications support to members.
Marguerite holds a Master of Public Health in global health policy from George Washington University. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Spanish and International Health, with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership, from Clemson University.
Her professional experience includes work in diabetes care, health literacy education, and rural health programming, with a focus on improving access to care in underserved communities. Through her work with the Clemson Rural Health Extension team, she supports initiatives addressing language barriers and strengthening community-based health services in South Carolina.
