About Reese
Reese joined NRHA staff in 2025.
As government affairs and policy coordinator, she provides policy and research support related to legislation and regulatory affairs and represents the policy and programmatic interests of rural health in the broader GA team efforts.
A 2024 Truman Scholar and recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, Reese is deeply committed to advocating for rural communities across the country. Her policy experience includes three years working in government relations for the University of South Carolina and an internship with her hometown representative, Congressman Andy Barr.
Reese is a proud Kentuckian. She graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina, where she earned a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology and received leadership distinction in both research and diversity and social advocacy.
