Susie is a doctoral student in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her research with the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research and the North Carolina Rural Health Research Program at UNC explores inequities in access to care in the US, focusing on affordable quality health insurance and maternal and newborn care. Her prior work explored economic evaluations of global public health interventions to improve newborn care. Susie holds an MSc in public health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
