April 13-22, 2026 hill hearing summaries

Lock icon At the end of April, RFK. Jr., Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, participated in a marathon of Congressional hearings in response to the release of the 2027 President's Budget Request (PBR), testifying before seven committees over two weeks. During these hearings, he provided testimony regarding the Department's progress and priorities and responded to questions from committee members.

NRHA has compiled summaries of these hearings, as well as transcripts of questions from Members that directly relate to rural health for members to access on NRHA Connect, the association's member network.
